QUALITY AND SECURITY

Management Policy

At LQB Customs Brokers and Logistics (LQB), we express our interest and commitment to quality and safety in the services we provide throughout the logistics chain. Our goal is to constantly exceed (achieve) the satisfaction and trust of customers, suppliers, competent control authorities and other business partners, emphasizing the constant search for innovation and improvement, committing to:

Provide a quality, safe and efficient service, so that our clients obtain the greatest possible benefit to contribute to their competitiveness.

Maintain a firm opposition to all illicit activities associated with foreign trade in the supply chain that we are part of, understanding as such drug trafficking, smuggling, terrorism, trafficking in counterfeit products, gun trafficking, among others; direct all our efforts towards avoiding becoming an involuntary instrument of chain management that threatens safety, the environment or health.

Provide our services in a professional, dynamic and responsible manner, complying with current legal and regulatory requirements, both national and international.

Plan, analyze and control our work, applying a comprehensive, reliable and safe management system.

Continuously improve our integrated management system, keeping it adapted to the constant changes that arise from both foreign trade and customs, as well as new technologies, stimulating the development and constant training of our collaborators.

Integrated Management System

At LQB we maintain an Integrated Quality and Safety Management System in the Supply Chain, aimed at guaranteeing the highest standard of Quality of services and Safety in operations.

ISO 9001:2015 international certification

The ISO 9001:2015 standard is an international standard that establishes an organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) by meeting the requirements it proposes. It aims to guarantee that the performance of the organization’s activity is aimed at continuous improvement and that the products and services supplied satisfy the customer.

We have the international ISO 9001:2015 Certification for our Quality management, granted by QMS.

Qualified/Authorized Economic Operator (OEC)

The Qualified Economic Operator (OEC, also known internationally as Authorized Economic Operator, OEA) is a reliable and safe operator, which meets a series of security and control standards (OEC Requirements) and is certified as such by the National Directorate of Customs after an audit process of the organization, processes, security, administration and financial statements of a company.

Currently, and after completing the implementation of all the OEC Requirements, we have submitted the OEC Certification request to the National Customs Directorate, waiting to be summoned to begin the Certification process.

Country Brand Certification

We have obtained the Country Brand Certification, an indicator of quality, hand in hand with the representation of the best values of the country, thus ensuring that we have transferred these values to our services, generating a common identity and prestige.

Great Place to Work

We have obtained the “Great Place to Work” certification, which recognizes companies that create an exceptional experience for all their employees and that have a quality work culture and work environment.

Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

Our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy is a management instrument that defines the goals, strategies, programs, actions and projects in the social and environmental field, aimed at generating an improvement in the quality of life of our collaborators and the consequences of our actions on the environment, which, ultimately, translates into a positive impact for society in general.

Sustainable Development Policy

Our Sustainable Development Policy aims to be a management instrument that defines the goals, strategies, programs and projects in the environmental field aimed at promoting sustainability in the area of LQB operations and to minimize the environmental impact in our work, and then translate it into a specific action plan adjusted to the guidelines contained herein.

To this end, our company, based on this Policy, seeks to carry out the future implementation of plans and strategies committed to sustainability. Mainly by the care of the environment and the reduction in pollution generated from our operations.

This Policy establishes the actions that have already been implemented, as well as actions to be developed, since our company’s commitment is to future generations, so the sustainability of our business is a concept that is constantly changing and is not exhausted in today’s actions, but rather implies a permanent and perfectible commitment that involves all of us, every day.

In this sense, LQB is part of a group of associated companies, including Renovables Green Energy SAS, with which we will make joint efforts to ensure that both clients and group companies change their fleet to electric vehicles.

It is a general and social commitment, to make our best efforts to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment, and for this we have the support of all our collaborators.

The smallest actions, such as conscious use of water resources, electricity, fossil fuels, will make the change we need.

Below are the actions that LQB carries out, as well as those it intends to implement in the future, with the collaboration of our entire team.

ENERGY CONSUMPTION

At LQB we understand that one of the main problems in business management is the use of non-renewable energy.
That is why one of the goals we set is to begin using renewable energy in our offices, particularly from the use of solar panels.
The use of fossil fuels will be avoided whenever there is another environmentally friendly alternative.
Electronic equipment that is not in use, or at the end of the work day, will be unplugged and turned off, to avoid the consumption of idle energy.
Those devices that allow the use of timers will be conditioned to implement their use. Also, the lighting outside the office is from a photocell with LED; inside the office, the lighting is LED and the air conditioners will be changed to equipment with Inverter technology.

MINIMIZING THE USE OF STATIONERY

As a general rule, only those documents that are strictly necessary will be printed.
To contribute to this, we have developed various procedure management software, so our collaborators track and follow up the clearance procedures online, without the need to have paper documents, forms, files, or similar.
Likewise, we have implemented the use of ERP software, which allows us to optimize processes and reduce the use of paper by 100%.

WASTE SORTING

In our offices there are containers for different types of waste: paper, organic waste, plastics, glass.
All waste with potential recycling is sent to recyclers.

POLLUTION REDUCTION

In order to reduce our carbon footprint, we aim to ensure that the entirety of our transportation fleet (trucks and vans, among others) is electric, renouncing to those that use fossil fuels.
Likewise, our operations aim to collaborate with our clients so that they also initiate changes in their fleets in this regard.
It is everyone’s commitment to be able to carry out this Policy and collaborate in the implementation of the action plans.

Confidentiality and Data Protection Policy

LQB considers confidentiality and protection of the data it processes from its clients to be fundamental.
For us, the trust of our clients is invaluable capital, not only in the services provided, but also in the protection of their assets, including data related to the business.

Service Commitment

For the purposes of complying with our Policy and Management System, we present the following conditions that govern the services provided by LQB

We carry out the procedures in accordance with the provisions of current regulations.

We keep our clients permanently informed about the progress of their procedures and warn them of any circumstance that could affect them.

We preserve the integrity, security and confidentiality of the documentation delivered by our clients.

We provide all our clients with comprehensive advice on International Trade and customs regulations.

We deliver to our Clients the estimates they request within a period of no more than 24 hours, once we have received all the information and/or documentation necessary for clearance.

We are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., without prejudice to the fact that we remain available through email.

To our clients

In order to meet the proposed goals more effectively, your collaboration is necessary, communicating your needs to LQB as clearly as possible, delivering the necessary documentation in a timely manner and letting us know about any service that did not fulfilled your expectations.

Please communicate to LQB staff any information you consider appropriate, for example, the existence of a particular link between the buyer and the seller and whether such link influenced the value of the merchandise, the existence of any legal restrictions on the use of the merchandise, whether from the Country or the Economic Block (MERCOSUR) or the existence of royalties and license rights related to the merchandise that the buyer must pay.

Special conditions

Our Clients may request special or additional conditions to those established in this document. These conditions must be considered and approved by LQB management.
